BabyVo ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of parents and caregivers who use our app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address (used for login via one-time password)
- Name (optional, used for display purposes)
- Authentication tokens from Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In if you choose those methods
Baby Health & Tracking Data
- Baby profile: name, date of birth, sex
- Feeding logs: type, duration, amount, timestamp, notes
- Sleep logs: start/end time, location, notes
- Diaper logs: type, timestamp, notes
- Growth measurements: weight, height, head circumference
- Doctor visit records and vaccine records
This data is considered health-related information as defined by Apple's App Store guidelines. It is stored securely and used solely to provide the baby tracking features of the app.
Purchase & Subscription Data
- Subscription status and purchase history (managed via RevenueCat)
- We do not have access to your payment card or billing information — this is handled entirely by Apple App Store
Usage Data
- App interactions and feature usage (for improving the app)
- Device type and operating system version
- Crash reports and error logs (anonymized)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the BabyVo service
- To sync your data across devices and with co-parents you invite
- To generate AI-powered insights about your baby's routines (processed via third-party AI service)
- To send you notifications you have enabled
- To process subscription payments
- To respond to your support requests
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Your data is shared only in the following circumstances:
- Co-parents / caregivers: Users you explicitly invite can view and edit the shared baby profile.
- Service providers: Only as necessary to operate the app (see Section 3).
- Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using platform-provided secure storage.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
6. Children's Privacy
BabyVo is designed for use by parents and caregivers (adults). The app tracks data about infants and children but is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.
7. Your Privacy Choices
You have full control over your data:
- Delete your account: Open BabyVo → Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers.
- Correct inaccurate data: You can edit or delete any entry directly within the app.
- Withdraw consent: You may stop using the app and request full data deletion at any time.
- Lodge a complaint: You have the right to contact a data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
